National Independence Day
November for Poles is an important month due to the national holiday - National Independence Day.
It aims to commemorate Poland regaining independence in 1918, after 123 years of annexation.
November 11 is a national holiday that is celebrated every year throughout Poland. Cyclical events such as runs, patriotic concerts, street parades or historical exhibitions are very popular.
2018 was particularly important because in Poland, we were celebrating our 100th anniversary at the time

November 11 is a contractual date because the process of rebuilding independence by Poland itself was not implemented in one day, but consisted of a series of many events.
November 11 as the Independence Day established the pre-war Polish government. In this way, the authorities of the Second Republic of Poland wanted to commemorate Józef Piłsudski's assumption of power in Warsaw.
