Talking about the art What is art these days? Over the years, this concept has changed its meaning. Does art have any limits?  We have been talking about art since ancient times. At that time, works were created depicting symbolically deities or small bronze and clay figurines. One of the most famous artists of all time, Michelangelo created during the  Renaissance. His works are dazzling. The famous sculpture of David from marble- this is somthing really sophisticated. Paintings painted by realists with particular attention to detail. And what constitutes art today? The famous fountain created by the French artist Marcel Duchamp (for those who don't know it is a bidet that has been signed as a fountain) or a painting that represents a white square on a white background.  It is difficult to compare a sculpture made of a very difficult material which is marble to a bidet but  who really defines the framework of art?
Worlds of future Have you ever wondered what the world will look like in a hundred years? Will everyone have a robot, or will robots replace people? The robot can replace the broken part, man is not so easy. What about cars? Are  the flying cars fiction or is it an idea closer to implementation than we think? Once, no one thought about telephones, and now the world is dominated by smartphones that take pictures, have an alarm clock, a flashlight, a clock and a million other functions installed to make life easier. I think everyone knows the Back to the Future movie series. Are travel in time possible?  Certainly it is an invention that people with their own companies, businessmen, politicians or even singers who have two concerts a day would benefit from. And finally, do aliens really exist? There is so much evidence that people are not alone in the universe. Famous crop circles, light appearing and disappearing, strange noises... Full of witnesses who say they
Art of light When talking about light, it is worth visiting cities where light shows take place. In the city where Mikołaj Kopernik was born, i.e. in Toruń, an amazing festival of light takes place every year- Bella Skyway Festiwal At the end of August, crowds gather in the streets of Toruń to participate in a unique performance Tourists who come from all over the world have the opportunity to see laser shows on important city buildings. It's not everything. The city is full of light installations. However, it is worth taking a map with you to find the most interesting places. The authors of these works are people who come from the farthest corners of the world. Sometimes aircraft shows are organized. Every few minutes, short films ideally suited to the shape of the object appear on the buildings. The city really shines these days. Every year different installations are shown, artists outdo each other in ideas. This is a great promotion for Toruń, because su
Restaurant in the dark Have you ever had someone cut off your electricity and you had to sat in the dark with candles lit? I admit that the candles bring a romantic atmosphere to the room but every day we are used to the light. We light the lamps when it gets a little darker. We are surrounded by street lamps, glowing monitor screens and neons. And what if the lights suddenly run out? Quite recently I had the opportunity to participate in a rather unusual event. Together with a friend we went to a restaurant for dinner where all the lamps were off. We entered total darkness. We were led by a waiter who could see through the night vision device. What were my feelings during that evening? At first a slight fear, I did not know where I was going, I was afraid that I would trip and fall over. I lost my orientation. Later I was afraid that it would not go to my mouth and the food would be on the table than in my stomach. I was forced to use my other senses. I was touching
Halloween Derived from American culture, the festival of the dead that is Halloween, also traveled to Poland. It is celebrated all over the world in very different ways. Most often, however, children dress up as monsters or ghosts on this day, together with parents they cut pumpkins, they decorate houses. Children roam the streets in their costumes, knock on the door and ask for some sweetness or a few coins.  It is better for you to open, because in the morning there may be a surprise in the form of eggs broken against the wall of the house. In Poland, they began to return to their own traditions and for some time on October 31 instead of the ghosts of children dress up as saints. A mass is celebrated in the church followed by a parade of children. What country is a custom, however, these are special days that are celebrated all over the world
Books  At the beginning it was bedtime stories, then essential reading from the reading list. Scientific articles began in college - in a word, books have always been with me. When I have free time I reach for books. In junior high school I chose fantasy, a series of books about a young wizard, I don't need to be introduced to anyone. Then various stories about vampires and forbidden love. Today I choose detective stories or romances. Books have a therapeutic effect, allow you to move to other times, if they are historical novels, or to completely different worlds, full of magic, mysterious creatures or deadly handsome vampires. Despite the progress of digitization, paper books do not lose their power. The book is also always a good idea for a gift for a grandmother who loves cooking, a friend who dreams of great love and for a boy who is interested in the history of football.
Museum Who of us doesn't like to go to the museum? It is a treasury of historical knowledge and even fun. Of all, we can distinguish e.g. the historical museum, toy museum, art museum etc. The most popular facilities of this type are definitely the Louvre Museum in Paris, the Vatican Museums and the British Museum. Today's museums are interactive, making them attractive and more accessible to children In addition to traditional places where works of art worth millions or antique exhibits are stored, you can find slightly different museums:
The last white rhino died Information from the animal world: In France, Sana, a 55-year-old female white rhino, died in the zoo. She was the oldest white rhino in captivity. She was born in the South Africa in 1954, and then he was transported to Europe after seven years. Before 1993, this animal changed zoos several times in Germany, and then settled in France - writes France Info. Considering her age, zoo staff paid a lot of attention to this exceptional rhino: they assessed her health every morning and adjusted her food rations. Recently, Sana wasn't able to bathe herself in the mud to protect herself against sunburn, which is why she was treated with clay every two weeks to avoid infection and moisturizing the skin. In 2018, Kenya, the last male Northern White Rhino, was put to sleep, the animal was 45 years old and was very sick. There are 6 species of animals under special protection in Poland: Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) Gray seal (Halichoerus grypus)
